David R. Rose

Originally from Buffalo, NY, David was
educated at the University of
Pennsylvania and Oxford University. After a postdoctoral appointment at
the Massachussets Institute of Technology, he spent seven years at the
National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa. In keeping with the
international tradition of the lab, David is a citizen of both Canada
and the US. David joined the Research Staff at the Ontario Cancer
Institute in 1991.

Douglas A. Kuntz

Doug's
undergraduate career spanned from Brandon, Manitoba to Carleton
University in Ottawa. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of
Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Following his doctoral work, Doug
completed postdoctoral appointments in Brussels, Belgium and San
Francisco, USA. Doug joined the Rose lab in 1995.

Marees started in the Rose Lab in 2003, coming from Chris Richardson's group. In addition to being the purification guru and reagent/equipment seeker, Marees keeps us supplied with samosas.

Meenakshi Venkatesan

Meena completed her Ph.D. at Cambridge University where she worked with Ernest Laue on structural studies of small GTPase family proteins by NMR.
Later, she worked with Lawrence McIntosh at the University of British Columbia on Cdc4p and its interaction with myosin heavy chain.
She joined the Rose lab in 2004 and is currently working on glypicans and lysosomal alpha mannosidase.

Lyann Sim

Nick Shah

Nick
completed his undergraduate work at the University of Toronto, where he
studied computational protein folding as a project student. He joined
the Rose Lab in 2001 and is currently attempting to elucidate the
catalytic mechanism of golgi a-mannosidase
II.
